The New Woman tells the compelling story of the shifting social positions of women in Dutch art from the late 19th century onward.
Women in the spotlight In the spotlight are women who take to the barricades, enter new fields of work, create masterpieces, build collections, light a cigarette, flaunt their short (or long) hairstyle, or jump on a bike. Time and again, these women challenge ideas of what is considered typically ‘feminine’ or ‘masculine,’ break with conventions, and push boundaries.

Art work limited edition T-shirt
This limited edition T-shirt was created for Brass Rave Unit in collaboration with Skate Café. The design draws inspiration from Murmurs of the Earth by Carl Sagan and the Golden Record sent into space aboard the Voyager spacecraft in 1977.
Referencing messages of hope, curiosity, and connection across time and space, the shirt features images that speak to our desire to communicate across cosmic distances.

My mission was to create an inclusive identity that resonates with both young and old, fostering a sense of togetherness and celebration of creativity. In the quest to appeal to diverse age groups, I discovered the perfect typeface ‘Gestures’ from Moniker. The typeface has a set of variable letters, offering the versatility needed to adapt to different projects.

Ecologies of Memories explores the impact of Shifting Baseline Syndrome (SBS) on our collective natural history awareness, with our knowledge of the richness of nature slowly disappearing. Each new generation lacks an undaerstanding of how different and often richer nature was during the childhood of their parents or grandparents, as a result accepting a deteriorating natural world as normal.
